The Watson Chapel School District will be assessing the side roads and back roads where our buses travel on regular routes this afternoon. The primary roads are in pretty good shape. Hopefully, there will be enough melting with rising temperatures so the routes will be safe to transport our students on Thursday morning. A decision will be made by early this evening.

This is just a friendly reminder that we are back on our early Wednesday dismissal schedule at Coleman Elementary School. The first bell for city bus riders will ring at 2:10. The car and van riders will be dismissed at 2:15 and the country bus riders will be dismissed at 2:25. Please make the necessary arrangements to have all car riders picked up by 2:25. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.

The January school board meeting will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6 pm in the Board Room due to inclement weather. February's meeting will be held according to our normal schedule.

Coleman Elementary will like to send a BIG shout out to Destiny Worship Center for bringing our Coleman Scholars last minute Christmas gifts before they left for the Christmas Break. Thank you, Pastor Kourtney Smith for the generous donations and Minister Pamela Dorn and her team for delivering the gifts to our scholars. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.



Coleman Elementary School will dismiss early today, Tuesday, December 19th. The first bell for city buses will ring at 12:30. The second bell will ring at 12:35 for car riders and van riders. The last bell will ring when all country buses arrive. All car riders must be picked up no later than 12:45. Please make the necessary arrangements to have your child picked up on time. Coleman Elementary Cafe will celebrate the December Holidays on December 8th. Adults and family members are invited to join the 4th and 5th grade students. A holiday meal for visitors is $5.00. 4th grade lunch begins at 11:45 and 5th grade lunch starts at 12:15.
